As we wrap up another year and bid farewell to 2020, the Pulse team would like to take this opportunity to thank all UOW staff and students for supporting our businesses UniActive, UniBar, Kids’ Uni, UniShop and Aspire, for attending and promoting our student engagement activities and events both online and on campus and purchasing from our wonderful tenants community throughout the year.
After a long period of Isolation due to COVID-19, a call was made to create a space to re-connect staff and students to the land, community and art. A community garden provides the perfect platform to blend all three.
Having a Pharmacy on campus is always at the top of the list whenever we seek feedback about services required on our campus.
The UOW Pulse Board is pleased to announce the reappointment of Jo Fisher to the Board as the UOW Pulse Staff Director for the 2020 – 2022 period.
We would love to get your feedback on your favourite outlets on campus via this short survey. The tenant that gets the most votes will receive a two hour 1 on 1 session with Brett Baker, a local businessman and Funpreneur which would be so valuable for all our tenants.

Today marks the start of Mental Health Month, with the purpose to encourage all of us to think about our mental health and wellbeing, regardless of whether we may have a lived experience of mental illness or not.
The annual Tertiary Access Group CampusLink Awards were celebrated from around the country last week to acknowledge the best in student services.
UOW Pulse recognised National Child Protection Week last week, with this year’s theme ‘Putting children first…’ Children are an important part of UOW Pulse business with many local children and families participating in UniActive swim school or holiday sports camps and of course they at the heart of what we do at Kids’ Uni childcare services.
It’s no secret that COVID has impacted many businesses in different ways.

Update from the UOW Pulse CEO 2 April, 2020 As we head towards the start of online course delivery, there are still students and staff who are attending Campus for a variety of reasons.
