All professional service employees and academic staff whose employment contracts are governed by the recently approved enterprise agreements will receive a 1.3% salary increase, effective from 15 November 2019.
We are pleased to announce the Fair Work Commission approved the University of Wollongong (Academic Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2019 (the ‘Agreement’) on 31 October 2019. The provisions of the Agreement will come into effect from 7 November 2019 The University is updating policies to reflect the provisions of the Agreement and developing fact sheets to assist employees and managers understand changes to the Agreement.

The voting process for the proposed University of Wollongong (Academic Staff) Enterprise Agreement, 2019 has now closed and we are pleased to inform you that 97% of those who cast a ballot, voted to approve the proposed agreement.
