UOW is getting involved in Biketober, a NSW Government initiative encouraging everyone to try cycling and stay healthy! Instead of Ride to Uni Day this year, we’re encouraging everyone to try riding any day during October. Whether you’re currently coming to campus or not, spring is a great time to ride around Wollongong or your local area.
Sign up for the Biketober Challenge for free. You can win some prizes, log your rides and be a part of the UOW cycling community. When you register, search for “University of Wollongong” to join the UOW workplace.
UOW supports you with riding to campus by providing bike racks outside most buildings. We also have seven secure bike bases with access to end of trip facilities like lockers, showers and change rooms.
If you are new to riding, there are many resources to help you get on your way. Check out the Getting to Campus page for more information.
