The UGPN conference, originally to be hosted by UOW in 2020, has moved online for a virtual conference in 2021.
The virtual conference will be held, 23 – 26 March 2021. Chaired by the DVCR&I, Professor Jennifer Martin, the four day program will include:
- Plenaries from UOW Academic researchers tackling global issues
- Three themed multidisciplinary workshops targeting key UN SDGs
- A workshop on the transition to online teaching due to COVID-19
- Professional staff workshops on student student and staff mobility and operating remotely during pandemic world.
The program for the UGPN Conference 2020 is currently being finalised.
The UGPN was initiated in 2011 with an aim to create a foundation for international collaboration enabling academics and students from some of the world’s top universities to work together on issues of global importance.
The University of São Paulo, North Carolina State University and the University of Surrey were the founding members of the University Global Partnership Network (UGPN). UOW joined the UGPN in November 2015.
