We know students are eager to find out what learning will look like in the second half of 2021, and that many of them have missed being on-campus and making the most of UOW’s on campus experience.
We will be writing to students today (Tuesday 8 June) to let them know that we are bringing back more on campus classes in Session 2.
Spring Session students
The Spring 2021 and associated session timetables will be published on 11 June and will show many more classes delivered on-campus, with capacity limits, physical distancing and other safety measures in place.
Students are being reminded to enrol in Session 2 subjects, so that once the timetable is released, their class options will be available for them to view in SOLS under “Subject Timetable”.
We remain very mindful that some students are still unable to join us on campus due to international travel restrictions or other COVID-19 related circumstances, and so online delivery will continue to be offered, where possible.
Students who are offshore and find that some of their classes are not available online are encouraged to contact the subject coordinator to discuss whether there are any remote study options for that subject, or to contact Student Services to make an appointment to speak to an academic advisor, to explore alternative subject choices.

For students who have questions about their Spring timetable, or what studying in second session will look like, please direct them to Student Services on +61 2 4221 3927 or email email@example.com.
Trimester 3 students
The Trimester 3 2021 timetable will also be published on 11 June. For the first two weeks of Trimester 3, most subjects at both Sydney and Wollongong campuses will be offered via dual delivery (i.e. classes will run simultaneously on campus and online). During these two weeks, should there be little demand by students for on campus class delivery compared to online delivery, the Faculty may look to replace dual-delivered classes with fully online classes.
For students who have questions about the Trimester 3 timetable, please direct them to the Faculty of Business and Law on +61 2 9266 1300 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to seeing many more students back on our campuses in the second half of this year.
