The University has extended the suspension of campus parking permit payroll deductions for all staff with Wollongong and Innovation campus permits for an additional three month period until 30 September 2020.
Staff will not need to do anything further and are not required to return their parking sticker during this period.
Some staff, including casuals, may have paid for their Wollongong campus parking permit up-front for half a year or a full year at the post office. If these staff wish to receive a partial refund, they are required to be verified in person at the post office, who will process a refund to the staff member’s debit card including those who may have paid in cash initially.
All carparks on the Wollongong campus are open; however, there is no requirement to purchase a ticket via the Pay and Display system. Staff, students and visitors can park without requiring a ticket.
Parking arrangements at all regional and metropolitan campuses remain as normal.
