The UOW Global Challenges Program has developed a range of funding schemes to harness the expertise of world-class researchers to solve complex, real-world problems – to transform lives and regions.
Thirty-five per cent of Global Challenges projects are, in fact, led by early career researchers.
Seed Funding Rounds are now open and UOW researchers can apply for seed funding for projects up to $15,000. Seed grants will provide funding for projects including:
• Project scoping/proof of concept
• Research exchange (short term visits)
• Events (UOW based conferences, workshops, seminars)
• Engagement with end-users, policy makers
• Pilot studies.
If you would like to learn more about this rewarding program and its funding opportunities, join us on Tuesday, 16 April (12.30pm – 1.30pm) at Building 24:103. Lunch is provided.
If you have a project idea or are looking for collaborators, this is a great time to speak to one of our challenge leaders who can support you to build an interdisciplinary team and help kick-start your research project.
