Project Unified would like to share with you changes to the original estimated timing of implementing the Unified (new Finance and HR) system. Following discussions with the Unified Steering Committee, HCM and Finance Governance committees, and our implementation partner, we have decided that the current May 2020 go-live will be delayed. This decision has been made in order to minimise the risk to the university, by allowing thorough testing of the changes to the payroll system as a result of Unified being implemented.

We want to ensure that we implement a functioning system that meets UOW requirements, and for this reason we believe an adjusted go-live is sensible. The updated go-live for Phase 1 will be communicated once confirmed, with Phase 2 targeting a September 2020 go-live. This issue aside, the majority of the project is on track and we have had many successes to date, with many project team members and stakeholders to thank for it.
