Media engagement is a critical means of connecting research and expertise with the public.
The next workshop designed to help you make the most of media opportunities will be run on Tuesday 29 May.

What: Introduction to media workshop
How: Register via Web Kiosk using the ‘training requests’ option. The course is listed under Professional Development as MTM1 – Introduction to Media Training (don’t add a cost centre).
This is a workshop-style session and we encourage interaction, so please bring your questions and even past experiences of dealing with the media so you can get the most out of the morning.

Who should attend
Academics who are likely to engage with media in explaining research or commenting on issues of public importance.
The Introduction to Media workshop costs $300 per person. The cost includes course materials and refreshments, including a light lunch and coffee and tea.
