I love coming to work every day, I have a really supportive team and we work well together to accomplish our goals. I have seen many changes over the years from using the card catalogue to find books, using CD Roms to search for journal articles and using dial up speed to access the internet. In high school I was a Junior Alderman on the Wollongong Junior City Council, and also an advisory panel member.
What’s your favourite place in the world and why?
I have been fortunate to have travelled a lot when I was younger with my parents. In recent years I have travelled to New York, the Grand Canyon and many other amazing places. My favourite place would have to be Fiji. The Fijians are so friendly and welcoming. I love experiencing their culture and way of life.
Something on your bucket list you’d care to share?
One of my bucket list items was to visit the Grand Canyon. The landscape changes with every passing minute. Photos do not do the canyon justice. It is an indescribable destination of geologic colour.
