Academic careers depend on being able to demonstrate a strong record in research publication. To give you greater control over your publications, higher quality data and better functionality, UOW has replaced RIS Pubs with Elements, our new publications management system.

Your publications have been migrated from RIS Pubs into Elements, and once you update your details and your research identifiers (such as ORCiD, Scopus ID, etc.), your work will also be automatically harvested from several major publication databases, ensuring that it is accurately captured in one place. Elements also simplifies and streamlines the process of adding manual records where automation is not available.

The initial sync between Elements and UOW Scholars is now live, featuring four publication types (journal articles, conference papers, books and chapters). Integration work to include non-traditional research outputs is currently in progress.

Now is the perfect time to engage with Elements and ensure you have claimed your research outputs and update your personal Field of Research (FOR) codes.

The implementation of Elements is a critical investment by UOW to consolidate and manage publications.
