Next week UOW’s new eRecruitment system will be ready to use in the Unified platform. Early in 2021 Taleo (current eRecruitment system) will be decommissioned and will no longer be used at UOW.
The HR recruitment team will continue to manage roles that are currently submitted and advertised through the Taleo eRecruitment system until those processes have completed (where possible).
The most significant change to note is the introduction of a Workforce Establishment, resulting in the separation of position approvals and recruitment requisitions. This means:
- Hiring Managers will need to have the position ‘established’ by obtaining relevant approvals for new positions before they can create the Job Requisition (JR) in Unified and commence the recruitment process.
- Once a position is ‘established’, Hiring Managers can create a JR and commence recruitment for competitive roles and direct appointments without needing to obtain further approval.
