UOW Pulse would like to introduce you to Sanja, Zoran and Martina, the operators of Hemingway, opening Monday 4 February at 8.00am.
“Hemingway cafe & bar has been born out of our passions: flavoursome Mediterranean food, great coffee and a love of spending time with our friends and family. Therefore it’s not a surprise that our inspiration is Ernest Hemingway, the great 20th century writer, journalist, adventurer and thinker. Our culinary journey started on Croatia’s Adriatic Coast – it’s Mediterranean flavours mixed with the Balkan’s influences, we then set off to Germany, spent some time learning about Central Europe’s food and culture. Finally, we found ourselves in Australia. Over the years we have worked in different establishments, before opening a little cafe in Wollongong. When an opportunity at UOW came about we thought it would be a perfect spot for Hemingway cafe and bar; a place where Hemingway’s Cuba and our Mediterranean meet on a cheeky date, creating beautiful flavours and lively atmosphere.”
Hemingway offers a great place to dine, meet for coffee or simply pop in and select from the “grab and go” products on offer.
Pop up and have a look at this exciting new outlet and try the recess menu. The team at Hemingway look forward to meeting you.
