The Faculty of Law, Humanities and the Arts (LHA) are delighted to announce that A/Prof Trish Mundy has been appointed Dean and Professor of Law at UOW, for a five-year term starting 1 January 2020.
Many colleagues across the University will know Trish already. She has served as Associate Dean (Education) in LHA since 2017, and in this role has led multiple initiatives to strengthen our education offerings and the student experience in LHA. Her many other leadership roles include current Chair of UOW’s Work Integrated Learning Advisory Group and the recent Chair of the UOW Ally Network (for which she received a VC’s Award in 2018). Trish is widely respected in the profession for the impact of her work, and is one of the nation’s foremost experts in rural and regional practice of law. In 2019, she was shortlisted for NSW Women Lawyers Achievement Award.
