While current conditions prevent international travel and student mobility programs are temporarily suspended, planning for 2021 and beyond is underway. Applications are open for Autumn 2021 programs until the 7 August. Interested students can book in for a virtual consultation here.
Newly commencing Spring 2020 students are able to attend a virtual mobility information session during orientation on 27 July to learn about studying at one of the 200+ partner universities in 45 countries or with one of our third-party partners.
Also on the 27 of July, the Office of Global Student Mobility will welcome Study Abroad and Exchange students from 17 countries via a Virtual Orientation. The students will commence their study with UOW remotely. During the orientation, the students will get to know UOW, receive tips for studying online and staying connected, and play some rounds of Aussie Trivia. To help to get to know UOW and Australia students are being provided with a welcome pack introducing them to Aussie sports, TV, literature, music and some classic recipes including ANZAC Biscuits and Lamingtons. The incoming students have also been paired with previous UOW exchange students through the OGSM buddy program, who will help new students settle into their remote studies with UOW and feel connected to UOW and the city of Wollongong.
