UOW recently welcomed over 280 new study abroad and exchange students for their Orientation Program.
The students arrived from over 24 countries, with large cohorts from the United States, Sweden, Canada and Japan.
The orientation session provides students with all the information they need to succeed as a UOW student. This includes information on enrolment and academics, surf safety, Australian flora and fauna and campus life. Students also have the chance to enjoy some typical “Aussie” snacks before spending the afternoon at the O-Week Orientation festival.
The students will spend the next 6-12 months at UOW before returning to their home universities to complete their degrees. You may have the opportunity to meet them in your classes or around campus, so please help us in making them feel welcome!
