The University of Wollongong is proud to announce a Faculty of Business exchange agreement with one of the oldest universities in Europe. Founded in 1425, KU Leuven is now Belgium’s highest-ranked university, as well as one of the most renowned universities in Europe. Today, the university accommodates over 50,000 students – 18 percent of which are international students.
To introduce this exciting addition to the UOW exchange network, the Office of Global Student Mobility visited a number of lectures throughout the start of session – and expects popularity with students to rise in the coming years. Students from the Faculty of Business are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity, with a number of Endeavour government travel grants available for Autumn session 2020.
In recent times, Leuven has transformed from a small ancient capital to an upbeat and cosmopolitan institution in a rapidly changing environment. UOW students will enjoy studying at a top 100 QS World University in a town that is famous for its breweries, culinary scene and vibrant student life. Leuven is situated just 30 minutes from Belgium’s biggest city, Brussels – making it a convenient and dynamic location for students interested in the European political landscape.
