Over the weekend, more than 380 UOW graduates celebrated with family and friends at graduation ceremonies in Malaysia.
The first ceremony was held on Saturday 6 April for INTI International College Penang, with more than 180 UOW students graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce.
On Sunday 7 April, INTI International University and Colleges Subang Jaya and Kuala Lumpur held a joint ceremony with over 200 students graduating from a range of UOW degrees, including the Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies, Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Business Administration.
With more than 1200 students currently enrolled in UOW degrees in Malaysia, UOW Pro Vice Chancellor (South East Asia), Professor Paul Gollan, said the graduation ceremonies were a great opportunity to celebrate our international graduates and their achievements.
As part of the graduation ceremonies, all students were welcomed into the UOW Alumni community, which now extends to more than 152,000 leaders and innovators worldwide. Of those alumni, more than 4,000 currently live or work in Malaysia.
