Careers Central are looking for UOW departments and units to host students through the subject CRLP200: Career Ready Learning & Practice.

The next opportunity to host is between 1 March – 4 June.

CRLP200 is a practical subject is designed to help undergraduate students focus on their career goals and develop their professional skills. As part of their subject, they must undertake between 48 – 140 hours of an individual internship or an industry project (completed in a team setting), as a work-integrated learning opportunity to apply skills specific to their studies.

Internships* can be conducted remotely, face-to-face or a combination of both. Government guidelines will be monitored in case these circumstances change.

NB: securing an intern is not guaranteed, it is a competitive process. Some students may source their own internships. It is also dependent on student enrolments and which disciplines student come from.

If this interests you, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in to CareerHub. You can register for a login if you haven’t logged in before:
  2. Click “Find an Intern” this leads you to the “Organisation Internship Brief Form”. Complete and submit this form.
  3. Your form will be reviewed. Once approved, your internship will be advertised to a specific student cohort.
