For 2021 Careers Central are pleased to announce that they are running a STEM Virtual Careers Week over 2-6 August. The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Virtual Careers Week is designed to promote graduate programs and vacation work opportunities and internships over summer for students in their penultimate year of study.
During the week of 2-6 August STEM employers, such as Amazon, FinoComp, Thiess and more, will be presenting their own session in 45 minute time slots where they will be able to “e-meet” and interact with our talented students from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences and from the Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health. Each presentation will have a dedicated Q&A so students can talk directly to employers.
Additionally, on Wednesday, 4 August there will be a Women in STEM Careers Panel. This panel is designed to help female students increase their awareness of how to prepare for and take control of their STEM career in a world that is constantly changing.
All students who register and attend one or more employer presentations as part of the STEM Virtual Careers Week 2021 will go into the draw to win a Lucky door prize of one Hemingway small coffee voucher!
