The University of Wollongong (UOW) School of Law is now placed 78th in the world following the recent release of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject.

It has been an outstanding year for the School of Law, which rose 12 places in the rankings.

On Wednesday, 6 November, Times Higher Education released rankings by subject in Business and Economics, Social Sciences, Law and Education.

UOW performed well in general, up a band in Education ranked 101-125, up a band in Social Sciences ranked 201-250 and down a band in Business and Economics ranked 201-250.

UOW Dean of Law Professor Colin Picker thanked all academics in the School for their vital contribution to the subject’s rankings success.
