UOW College is pleased to be offering fee-free* Infection Control Training.
Infection control training is a key priority across a range of industry sectors as part of NSW Government’s COVID-19 response.
This short course is fully subsidised by the NSW Government with no tuition fees payable for eligible students.
Completion of this qualification will give you the confidence to work safely knowing you have done what you can to help keep your colleagues and customers stay safe.
- This nationally recognised training covers a broad range of topics to enable participants to confidently respond to infection hazards that they may encounter in their workplace including; Understanding infection and how it spreads;
- How to identify and assess infection risks; and
- Strategies to manage risk associated with hazards in the workplace and the skills to apply these strategies
On successful completion, students will be awarded a Statement of Attainment – HLTINFCOV001 – Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
The commitment is only a 6 hour online training session and online assessment and 2 hour practical assessment to be held at UOW Wollongong Campus.
