UOW co-curricular activities that engage students in a paid, voluntary or compensatory capacity can apply to have their activity recognised by UOWx. This means that a student’s contribution will be listed on their UOWx record, giving them a competitive edge in the graduate employment market. Activities recognised by UOWx have been identified as making a significant contribution to student learning outside the classroom.
By applying to have your activity recognised by UOWx, you will have access to:
- A network of UOW staff engaged in student-orientated activities through UOWx Activity Coordinator Meetings;
- UOWx student marketing channels to promote your activity and increase student engagement in your activity, including UOWx newsletter, website and UOWx App Channel.
Examples of activities that UOWx recognises can be viewed here.
