The annual Michael Tynan Challenge (MTC) went virtual for the first time in 2020. This year, 40 UOW staff members battled through various challenges to continue the 5th year of supporting local medical research.
On 17 October, the 5th Drive and Scooter Day Challenge was held to support businesses down the South Coast who were affected by the 2019/20 bush fires.
The spectacular Otford to Bundeena coastal walk, held on 24 October, attracted hundreds of keen walkers.
The final, and new addition to the MTC was the virtual challenge where participants could walk, run, ride or swim to reach 30kms in 24 days.
To date, Team UOW have raised $25,014. The funds will support medical research taking place at Molecular Horizons.
The Michael Tynan Christmas raffle is the last chance to help us raise money for medical research this year!
