Have you got nothing to do these school holidays?!

Well, do we have some news for you!

The UOW Makerspace has created a full-day workshop that allows participants to design and create their own LED Acrylic Lamp!

The purpose of this workshop is to teach you fun and new skills that will encourage creativity in design. We hope you will leave knowing the basics of how 3D Printing, Laser Cutting and Basic Electronics work and want to encourage you to try things for yourself!

The day will look a little something like this:

  • Morning: 3D Printing to create the base of your lamp.
  • Middle: Laser Cutting to create your acrylic design to be lit up.
  • Afternoon: Electronics to light up your amazing design.

Book your tickets here.
