The UOW Student Makerspace has reopened for 2020 and are currently seeking soft fabric donations for an Animal Rescue Craft Workshop to be held in coming weeks.

100% natural fibre, such as cotton, flannelette, bamboo, linen or silk, as well as polar fleece, wool, jersey, polyfil and sweatshirt material, are all required to target the creation of Joey Pouches and Bat Wraps. Sheets and doonas can also be repurposed for these needs.

Materials can be dropped off in the Student Makerspace on the ground floor of UOW Library on Wollongong Campus, with workshop dates and times to follow.

Further details about Animal Rescue Craft Workshops can be found on their Facebook page.
