Join us for our second instalment in the free Early Start Webinar Series on Wednesday 25 November at 7pm. This time, we take a local perspective, looking at the impacts of the devastating bushfires one year on. We’ll take a holistic approach — hearing from knowledgeable experts in trauma, educational support systems and community.

The FREE webinar sheds light on the experiences of children affected by the recent Australian bushfires, by examining the impact of adversity on children, families and the community. We look at the important role that the early childhood and school education systems play in restoring a sense of security and safety.

This is a not to be missed event for educators, academics, policy makers and parents!

The webinar will also include UOW Early Start experts, Professor Marc de Rosnay, Associate Professor Cathrine Neilsen-Hewett in a Q&A session hosted by Leanne Gibbs, following the presentations.
