This July, the Illawarra community is invited to attend the Meditate Australia Tour to experience thoughtless awareness. The Tour will visit more than 90 venues around Australia, with the Illawarra event held at The University of Wollongong Innovation Campus.

Meditation may be described as relaxation, and/or concentration, and may give a ‘relaxation response’. However true yoga meditation is known to produce a subtle-flow-state called ‘Thoughtless Awareness’, or mental silence.

This Mental Silence state, or Samadhi, is the target experience of Sahaja Yoga Kundalini Meditation and the practise was discovered by Nobel Prize nominee Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi (1929-2011).

Date: Wednesday 3 July

Time: 7:30pm

Cost: Free

Location: The Ocean Room, University of Wollongong Innovation Campus
