UOW Pulse invites the campus community to say ‘Thank You’ to student volunteers as part of the UniLife National Volunteers Week celebrations.

More than 120 students have volunteered a combined 619 hours so far this year, as part of the UniLife Volunteering Program. Students have contributed to the delivery of workshops, tours, programs, events and initiatives on campus and in the Illawarra community. Stand out projects include coffee and surfing tours, assisting at O-Week events and creating a new garden space in the White Cedar Courtyard.

2018 saw the launch of a refreshed volunteering program which allows students to join a team in their area of interest – Enviro Warriors, Active Tribe, Community Volunteers, Campus Buddies (supporting incoming international students) and Events Crew.

Please join us in thanking our wonderful volunteers for their contribution to enriching the campus and community.
